So what am I going to write about decisions decisions:-) hopefully keep you up to date with what is going on in the McAuley household.
I intend to start getting fit and eating heathly from Monday 1st September I refuse to use the word diet and hopefully by recording it on here I will stick to it....... well thats the plan.
Also in October I will be starting an Open University Course. Education is always something I wanted to persue but circumstances didn' t really allow me to.

Lyn, welcome to the world of blogging too. You'll find it takes up every spare moment you've got.
Which course are you thinking about doing? Good for you for taking the plunge though.
Hi Lyn
Great to see the kids. Sorry I can't say the same about you!! Ha ha.
Why have you taken so long to sort out a degree??? After getting your A grades in A level???? Glad to hear your doing it at last!
As for the healthy eating - I suppose that means you don't want to go to Speranza's again with us!! Ha ha
Hi Lynne, great to see your blog. What open uni degree are you doing? Im starting one in October as well. Im doing BSc in science, health & social care. Hoping to get onto the nursing degree next year. Though dont know how Im meant to have time for study with all this blogging to do!
I am starting with the Social Sciences Course I have done a bit of it before.
Now Charlene I couldn't quite fit Uni in with a 2 kids and a mortgage to pay. Well I still have to pay the mortgage but I hope to do some of the study on a night shift at work not a lot happens after about 3am.
And as for Speranza there is always room it just takes a bit of better planning. You cant deny yourself lovely things permanently you know :-)
Hi Lyn
Welcome to the crazy world of blogging. It´s great to finally see your kids. Well done doing your Open University...what course are you doing. you´ll be kept busy.
With regard to the healthy eating - you can do it. Believe me if I can anyone can. It´s about getting organised - having the right foods bought and in the cupboard so when you crave something sweet - you can reach for a healthy option instead of biscuists, chocolate etc.
I really recommend Rosemary Conley. I got her GI diet book - brilliant and then exercise is really the key - I bought her aerobic dvd (the one with colleen Nolan - it´s really good, not hard to follow) I did it 5 times a week and it made such a difference, but even doing it 3 times a week would make a difference. Go for it girl.
Another thing that helped me the first 14 days was that I didnt sit down to watch tv. When I watch tv I eat, so I just didnt watch anything, when I wanted to relax I lay in bed with a book or sat at the computer cause I didnt eat there. I also wrote down everything that I ate and made a deal with my friend that I had to show it to her, that really helped me, cause I didnt want to show her that I had ate chocolate.
ok enough advice from me...all the best with it. Looking forward to following your progress. It is soooo good to do it, I tell you, you feel lots better and have sooo much energy when you eat the proper foods and exercise.
